Where can I rent a tuxedo for Friday night (just over 48 hours from now) in New York City?

Baldwin Formals has an excellent reputation.

Men's Wearhouse was well-stocked the last time my boyfriend had to rent a tux. There are several in NYC.

If you need to do this on the cheap, I got one at a little shop off of the Grand stop on the L, in Brooklyn. It's near the corner of Grand and Humboldt.

The best in the business are A.T. Harris. NY Mag link because their website looks weak. Located psychically and physically near the Yale Club and Brooks Brothers. They're a hometown favorite, do weddings, benefits, movies, etc. They've got the rental thing grooved and make it seamless--they can also do quick alterations. You can walk in looking like Jeff Lebowski and walk out looking like Jeff Lebowski in a clean, well-fitted dinner jacket. I've been there on very little notice.
