Cross-fade plugin for the Windows Media Player SDK?

Is there a good cross-fade plugin for the Windows Media Player SDK?
I am a big fan of the SQRSoft crossfade plugin for Winamp, but a project I am working on involves imbedding the WMP SDK into an application, and crossfading tracks would be soooo sweet. I know the crossfade exists in the full WMP application, but it is not a function built into the SDK. Plugin? Work-Around? Anyone?
