Accepting online donations?

Alternatives to PayPal for accepting donations online?

A NPO I've been helping out are unsatisfied with using PayPal to accept online cash donations. They aren't ready to handle processing credit cards themselves.

Unfortunately there are some requirements that they have which make finding an alternative a bit tricky.

They need to be able to accept donations in a variety of currencies - but the main one is Japanese yen.

The donation site (if you are required to go off the NPO site to donate) must be in English and Japanese.

They must be able to easily transfer any donations into their own bank account (Japanese bank).

Any suggestions?

I think Amazon Honor System fits the bill -- but it charges 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction.

... and there is a $50 limit per transaction.

I was going to say Donate Now from Groundspring, except for the whole Yen thing.

Response by poster: Hmmm thanks for the info! Seems to become more apparent that PayPal is about the only option right now....
