Anyone have any live recordings of Jolie Holland? [more inside]
I was completely floored by her performance at Noise Pop 2004 in San Francisco. I snapped up her first CD, Catalpa, and I'm getting Escondida as soon as it comes out next month. If anyone has any concert recordings of her, though--especially of the Noise Pop show--I'd love to get a copy.
If you're not familiar with Jolie Holland, listen to "Old Fashion Morphine," one of the songs on her new album, which her label has generously posted online. She sings a bit like a cross between Chan Marshall and Billie Holiday.
