Where can I get a replacement cord for my Sennheiser 497 headphones?
Doesn't have to be official, I think any cord that fits the description of stereo mini jack to dual mono mini jacks would suit (all connectors male). I broke the end of the original and shoddily repaired it by splicing in another stereo jack but would like something less ghetto if I can ever find a seller.

Best answer: I've called Sennheiser directly to replace the cord for my HD 497s twice. $15 or something. Mailed quickly.

Response by poster: Thanks exogenous, I don't know why I couldn't find that.
...and you didn't break the cord in an incredibly stupid way...

Response by poster: (doesn't work to buy online that is, still useful for the item no. and the dealer list)

exogenous's link worked for me. I was able to get all the way to checkout. I found the same thing earlier, but exo beat me to it. I would give it another try.

I've always had good results calling Sennheiser directly to get replacement cords for my wife's HD280s, 570s (?), and 600s. She tends to run over the cords with her office chair, but $15-20 later everything's fine.
