Homeowner blogs?

I'm going to be a first-time homeowner soon (woot!) and am on the lookout for some good homeowner blogs. Could include content for newbie homeowners, funny or interesting homeowner musings, and of course useful tips.

Not sure if it's quite what you are looking for, but House Hacker is pretty neat.

Yes, houseblogs is the best of the aggregators, and covers pretty much everyone worth reading (even me - selflink, sorry!).

I had seen houseblogs before but was a little overwhelmed by the selection (they need a "popular" filter perhaps). I will check some of these out though, thanks.

Hi Starman! We're working on a popular filter and a "topics" feature that groups content. Members can add their favorite houseblogs via a member's entries or profiles to a personalized houseblogs feed. (We both have day AND night jobs, are renovating the house, and do in our spare time. But we love the community and we're dedicated to improving the site.) If you send me a note about the style of house you're getting and your interests, I'd be happy to suggest a few blogs that are tops in those categories.

Congrats on your new house!

(And thanks, other MeFi members, for the shout out. MeFi rules.)

Hi, thanks for the response. I'm still exploring the site, it looks like a good one though. Thanks for the offer for help, I'll let you know if I need a hand!
