Help me name that tune!

There is a song near the end of the movie Babel that does not appear to be on the sound track. Can someone please name that tune?

The song appears in the last 45 min's of the movie in a scene at the wedding reception in Mexico. It has a salsa sound to it and does not sound like much of the popular mexican music played at the reception.

I first heard this song in a salsa club in Shanghai of all places in 2005 and it's been driving me insane trying to figure out what song it is. Please help!

I noticed that as well. While I was watching it I thought that it sounded a lot like a Ruichi Sakamoto piece, but never verified it.

Response by poster: It's not a Sakamoto piece. It's a very fast salsa sounding piece nearly 2 hours into the movie. It's the part where Gael García Bernal is going to drive his aunt back to San Diego and people ask if he's OK to drive.

I went back and looked at the credits and it doesn't appear to be credited.

Film director Alejandro González Iñárritu recently met with Nic Harcourt on KCRW's Morning Becomes Electric to discuss and play the music that inspired the film. Maybe the answer will pop up there
