Where does Adium store the photos it takes with the macbook's camera?

If I use the ichat camera to take a photo with PhotoBooth, normally, the photos would be in the /~user/pictures directory. But if I use Adium to take a photo for a chat picture, the photo is stored somewhere else. Some where mysterious. Can anyone solve this mystery?

I think it's stored as encoded data in the .plist file for whichever account you took the picture for rather than as a separate file. The .plist files for each account will be in ~/Library/Application Support/Adium 2.0/Users/{adium account, probably Default}/Accounts/*.plist, where * is an integer. Looks like one .plist config file per account. The .plist files are XML, look for <key>User Icon</key> and the <data> tag after it.

I'm not 100% sure on this.

I think it stores it with the address book icons.

~/Library/Application Support/Address Book/Images

These items are .jpgs (but have no extension).

Sort by date to see more recent icons.
