Where to find ski travel deals?

What do you do when you are tired of the blank facades presented by Expida, Orbitz or Cheap seats? Where do you go to get the low down on travel deals, alpine skiing specifically? The when and where to get the best prices, the how and why when it comes to finding package deals on deep discount?

I have not found anything more reliable than Kayak.com (I do not believe they packages). Smartertravel.com is also useful. Not sure what you mean by blank facades.

Maybe try farecompare too.

Oh and BTW, you can check Orbitz, Expedia, Travelocity, Kayak & Cheap Tickets simultaneously on away.com. Saves time, I think.

For flights alone, Farecast can help you pick a cheaper time to travel.

kayak.com has the absolute best interface I've seen. It may not help you find cheaper fares than any of the other sites, but it makes choosing the most convenient flight very easy.

"How to Get the Cheapest Flight Every Single Time"

I forget where I found this blog entry, but it's pretty comprehensive, though not ski specific.

Response by poster: Thanks for the posts. This post is long off the fp but here are some links that might help those searching the archives.

So far epicski.com has been the best source for information on ski travel, lodging and discount tickets as well as lot of other in depth ski talk.

This recent disccussion on epicski.com is good

Snopak.com too.
