ArtFilter: 12 paintings of trees purchased at the One of a Kind art show in Toronto. Who painted them??? a little bit

I had a series of 12 paintings at home in Toronto that are now somewhere in the Atlantic making their way to my new home in Israel.

These paintings were square paintings on canvas with no frame, each app. 30 cm x 30cm. We hung them on the wall in three columns of four paintings each. Each of these paintings (except for two landscape paintings) was of a tree, from the angle of a very miniature person standing at it's roots and looking up at the leaves.

FWIW, we bought the painting at the One of a Kind exhibit at the Ex in Toronto a few years ago.

So my question: Who painted these paintings?

Um, a picture might help.

What year did you buy them? One of A Kind might be able to track down the artist.
Also, what was the selling price? It might help to determine the tier of the artist.

Response by poster: I can't add a pic, because the paintings are somewhere over the atlantic right now. i believe we purchased all 12 for app. $3,500. I don't know the exact price because it was my parents who bought them, but that's as much information as i have.

Response by poster: I found him! My mother said she remembered he had the same name as an Ontario Premier, which led me to Michael Harris. Breathtaking paintings!
