Dealing with chronic pain

Are there any resources out there for people who are in a relationship with someone that has a condition that causes chronic pain? Books, websites, groups, etc. I’ve only been able to find either info about the condition or support for the person who has it.

I'm not mentioning the condition on purpose because that's not what i'm asking about. It's about how to deal with a person who will be in pain for the rest of his life and coping with that long term.

While its somewhat focused on helping people in pain, the same information helps us know how to deal with other's pain...
