Hear that whistle blow?

What are your recommendations for a "cute", whistling tea kettle?

My wife recently broke her tea kettle and would like a new one for Xmas. She said she wanted something "cute". This wouldn't be cute in a Hello Kitty sort of way, however. I'm thinking more along the lines of these Pfaltzgraff kettles, but they don't quite scratch the itch. Standard stainless or one-color enamel kettles are not really what I'm after.

Any one know of some other makers of cute or unique tea kettles?

Thanks in advance!!

My mother-in-law has a kettle that has a nice whistle to it (unless you REALLY let it go) - it's a Villeroy and Boch one. Here's a link to hers and some other patterns in the same design. She has the "cottage" pattern.

Alessi makes some really cool-looking kettles. How about this kettle with a bird-shaped whistle (which is also available as an electric kettle), or one of these: Pito, Mami, Mama-ò.

Here's a link with 170 whistling kettles, some of them could be considered "cute".

This may be more whimsical than cute, but I've always loved the cow tea kettle.

I like my OXO SoftWorks Pick Me Up Kettle. You lift the kettle by its handle and the spout automatically opens for easy pouring. OXO makes two other kettles with a similar handle spout mechanism (Down Pour & Uplift).
