It's "Deluxe", son, "Deluxe".....

Trying to find specific soft-drink ads played at movie theaters. They were spoofs on MTV hip-hop culture.

Co-workers and I are trying to find information or a video online of the commercials played before movies in theaters a few years back. The trailers featured a white suburban hip-hop kid who called himself "Deluxe". At least one of the trailers was a parody of MTV Crib. Anything about this on the web? I can't seem to find anything at all.

Response by poster: Thanks, I didn't realize it was Coke.

If only Coke were a more popular soft drink, it would have been easier to guess.

What's funny is I didn't realize you didn't specify it as Coke. I was sure you did, in fact.

Well, the only part of the commercial I remembered was "it's deluxe, son, deluxe." And I'd been wondering where those ads came from, so thanks for failing the Google test and posting this question.
