When to buy a new Treo?

I'm planning to buy a Treo 700p but I don't know if I should wait. Will prices drop significantly after xmas? Will a newer/better model come out in the next few months?

2 very subjective questions.....
Are you buying new or used? The best price on new Treos is always tied to the cost of a cell phone contract....

I monitored the price of a used 650 for a while before buying one via CL, and the price did drop a bit, but not significantly. The 700 is still pretty new, so don't expect much.

Palm is behind schedule to release the 750, so the anser to your second question is a qualified yes.

The 680 might be worth a look as well.

I'm pretty up on Treo biz, and I don't see any drop in price any time soon. On the other hand...I just got one last week...and it's pretty f-ing hot! Lightning fast web access, tons more internal memory.
Was it expensive? Ah, yes. It surely was. the Treonauts site (I think) said the 700 are for high-level biz users (that's not me; I'm just a phone nerd). The 680 might be for you?

I'm still getting loads of use from my Treo 600. Don't need the Bluetooth. Got it for < $200 on ebay a year or more ago.
