How do I remove certain "Favorite Places" from the "Where" dropdown menu in the Save As dialog in Mac OS X?

I swear I looked all over before asking this simple question: How do I remove certain "Favorite Places" from the "Where" dropdown menu in the Save As dialog in Mac OS X? I just don't use certain folders anymore, and I'd rather they not be in the list, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to remove them. [FWIW, I'm currently running 10.2.5].

If you feel you looked everywhere, there's no way this can stop you from feeling stupid, so sorry in advance:

In Finder, pick the "Favorites" item from the "Go" menu. Delete any of the aliases in there you don't want anymore.

(The folder in question is "~/Library/Favorites", where "~" is the path to your home folder. In Mac OS X 10.3, the drop-down list of favorites is only visible in the compact form of the "Save As" dialog or sheet, and it shows the same items that are in the Sidebar if you expand it, or in any Finder window's sidebar.)

Response by poster: It's not the stupidest I've felt in my life. Thanks.
