Hottest mustard?

What is the hottest mustard? Colman's is fine, but I want hotter, without having to stir wasabi into it.

Does your grocery store have an asian section? "Kame" Chinese style hot mustard is pretty hot.

I love Colman's. My wife likes this stuff called simply "Extra Hot Russian Mustard [and cyrillic writing that I can't remember]" from the russian grocery. It has a yellow label with a rooster on it. Like I said, I love Colman's but the russian stuff is too much for me. Might be what you're looking for.

If you're stirring in wasabi, you're likely using the fake wasabi that's mostly horseradish anyway. Have you tried buying a jar of ground horseradish and using it as a condiment?

I own a jar of the stuff Mayor Curley linked (and likely bought it at the same store). It is very hot in the nose. If you enjoy mixing wasabi into your mustard, this is the stuff for you. I'm not a big fan, because I like a lot of salt and vinegar flavor in my mustard.

I've always found the fresher it is, the hotter it is. Buy some mustard seed and grind your own, fresh. Careful.

The Russian kind with the blue label with a picture of a peasant lady that looks like she just ate something really, really hot is good too. It also has a nice flavor along with its sinus-searing qualities.

I think it's the best thing that ever came out of the Russian nuclear program.
