How do i get out of a paperspace zoom in Autocad?
I'm getting back into Autocad after a long absence; furthermore, when I last used it we did everything in model space.
One of the other draftsmen (who knows not a whit of CAD - I'm the only guy who doesn't still work on a drafting table) zoomed in on paper space and then selected a specific viewport. If I try to zoom, it only zooms that viewport. nothing but a little section of the middle of that viewport is visible on screen - how do I deselect that viewport so I can zoom out to the whole piece of paper?

Also, beware of "locking" the viewport - once you're back in PS, grab the viewport, inspect the properties for it, and make sure it's set on locked or unlocked, as you see fit (neither one is good or bad, it's just a preference - when you have several on a page, with varying UCSs, it's good to lock htem sometimes.)

Response by poster: Well, I'll be goddamned. Something as simple as typing in that I wanted to be in paperspace. I knew I was in modelspace within the viewport in question, but...sheesh. Thanks!
