More animated Japanese .gif filter. Can you identify the source?

Seen (for one instance) here as the pink-haired "Fuck yeah!" girl, she's also recently been re-incarnated as a loopy "crazy-gesture" (fingers twirling around ears) .gif.

Is this a tv show? Who is this?

Best answer: This isn't Japanese. It's Stephanie from the TV show Lazy Town.

I'm not certain if it was created there, but Stephanie's something of an idol amongst certain members of 4chan.

As an addendum, Lazy Town used to be filmed in Iceland. Since it's now associated with Nick it may have moved to the US.

Response by poster: According to the Wikipedia article, it aired on YTV, which explains why it always twigged as familiar. Thanks -- was driving me crazy!
