Looking for a crazy Israeli highchair

We were visiting relatives today with our toddler, and from out of their basement, they brought the most amazing highchair I've ever seen. It appeared to be made of blue fiberglass. The great thing about it was that if you put it on its back, there was another seat, and a steering wheel, and the whole thing rocked back and forth. Flip it around onto its front, and had yet another seat, with a fixed tray in front, so you could use it as a low eating spot if you weren't sitting at a table. Apparently, they brought it back from Israel about five years ago. I've never seen anything like it, and fell absolutely in love with the design. Has anyone else seen this, and how can I get one?

There are lots of convertible high chairs out there. Apologies if those aren't the exact ones you wanted...

I've seen the same thing at least twice *years* ago, but I'm pretty sure both people had gotten theirs from Israel, too :/

I was in Israel as a child and I remember these chairs fondly, have never had success locating one anywhere else though.

I know that in the Borough Park, Brooklyn, NY area, someone has just begun importing "mini cribs" from israel- these are small foldable cribs for infants which are extremely lightweight and yet safe- I'm wondering if the same importer would perhaps be importing those chairs as well-

I believe the store I saw them in was on 16th avenue (or was it 13th avenue?) and 44-45th street. No recollection as to the name- but google is your friend...

Best answer: OH MY GOD, you just struck a nostalgic nerve. Yes, I'm Israeli, and my grandparents had that chair for every time we came over. I used it, and my cousin who's a year younger than me, and then my younger cousin, he's now 10, and then the even younger cousin who's now 3 and likes to sit at his own chair. Sorry, I can't help you find them in North America, but if you're ever in Israel I'm sure you'll find them at any Wal-Mart equivalent.
