Fine Dining in Berlin

Oh hivemind, where would you send a group of very traditional, distinguished, discriminating eaters for a classy dinner in Berlin? Bonus points for a highly cultural venue that offers historical atmosphere or sophisticated entertainment while dining. The folks in question will be staying at the Hotel Palace. Thank you!

This may not be what you're looking for... but it was definitely an experience to remember. And the food was good.

I went to Margaux off of Unter den Linden on Thanksgiving last year;very modern, the dishes are made with local ingredients, but presented rather oddly. I also went to the branch of Lutter & Wegner in Mitte, which is more traditional.

There is also Kellerrestaurant im Brechthaus which serves the dishes of Helene Weigel, his companion, but this is much less formal.
