How do I buy comics online in Canada?

CanadaFilter! Help a Canuck get his comic book fix.

I'm looking for an online source for comics located in Canada. There are services like this in the USA: In Stock Trades and Comic Hole. Despite the high Canadian dollar it's still a pain to ship accoss the border. So, aside from Amazon.ca and Chapters.ca where do the Canadian comic book fans shop online?

Toronto's Silver Snail Comics has an online store, but I've only ever used them for order-online-pickup-instore purchases. But it's a start, anyway.

Well, if legality isn't an issue for you... :) You can build a nice collection of files via BitTorrent. The file format is CBZ or CBR (a zip or rar file containing JPG images of each page of the comic book). I use CDisplay to read them on my laptop, but I have to hold it sideways. Next on my list is a TabletPC. :) It can be annoying, and no it's not the same as holding a comic in your hands. But, if you want to read some hard-to-find comics, it might be your only option.

The Beguiling has an online store, but as I live a few blocks away from them, I have never had a need to shop there online. They do, however, in addition to comics, also sell loads of original art.

If you don't mind joining a comic book community, you could become a member of the CGC Message Boards. Several members are canadian and collectors and dealers are members. It's a great place to talk about comic book collecting and buy comics from fellow members. I've bought/sold books there and have never had a problem. It's not like an online store but you can get good deals on some nice comics (I got a collection of VF-VF/NM early Iron Man's for less than guide recently).
