Cleaner coke

Is a saline sinus rinse a good way to clean all the excess coke out of your sinuses after a hard night of partying?

From what I understand a good part of the cocaine should be absorbed into your system. Whats not absorbed through mucus membranes in absorbed by mucus and then swallowed. I'm guessing what you're assuming is coke in your sinus is more or less a byproduct of the cocaine use.

If you're worried about trace amounts being left, don't. It should all be out of your system within 48-72 hours. However, it can be traced in hair until that section of hair has grown out and been cut.

No, there should be no excess cocaine. I have never heard of this, and I've heard my share of stupid drug stories (LSD in your spinal fluid, etc.). Given the amount of cocaine and the amount of people who do it, if it was a problem we'd surely hear of it. Do not worry, just don't get rusty pipes!

i think what the poster is alluding to is that incredibly nasty stuffy/dripping nasal passage after a hard nights partying. Correct me if I am wrong isopropyl.

And the answer is you are stuck with the nasty nasal cavity remants of too much blow. Try not to blow your nose to much in the office today. Plus, my spidey senses tell me you were out late on a Monday. Bad move.

Yes, it is.

It helps, but if the symptoms persist, you may have a nasal infection. It's common with coke users - your dr. can prescribe an antibiotic nasal spray to help with that if it's really terrible.

So, you're going to pour saltwater into your already traumatized mucous membranes? Just blow your nose (heh). This, too, shall pass.

Funmonkey, from previous questions, it appears that isopropyl is in college. It's summer. Your spidey sense might need calibrating.

Isopropyl, you're better off snorting some salt water before you go to bed, as it should help keep your nose a little happier the next day. Make sure your saline solution isn't too salty (if it stings, it's too salty) and be gentle.

Man, after my first (and only) coke binge I had the worse sinus pain for about a week. My fellow bingers told me to expect that everytime. Honestly, I can't imagine people getting hooked on coke when they have to go through those problems.

The hyper-alter state it puts you in more-than-likely has you fixated on your nose and any damage that may have been done to it. Just wet your fingers under a faucet and then sniff the water -- it will help.

Oh, yeah, and don't do that stuff. :P

Seriously though, it makes food taste like cardboard for a few days. Not really worth the price or the short buzz. And watch out for the mood swings.

Yes, the high cost and short buzz from coke is one reason why speed is so popular now. Much cheaper, much longer last, similar though not identical effects.

isopropyl: it's not really residue that's causing your screwed up nose the next day, it's the fact that you kicked the shit out of your mucous membranes and they are a little bit damaged and a lot irritated. A little time will fix you up as long as you don't get hooked on the stuff and start doing it very frequently.

Don't get hooked!

desuetude - i think you might be right. My spidey senses do need a calibration. Where's craiglist delivery when you need to relive your past?

LOL

Just pick your nose and eat it like the pros do.
