How can I easily test the page weight of my webpages?

Anyone have a good page weight calculator? I'm working on re-developing a fairly large site, and as part of that we're looking to keep download times (and thus, page weight) down. Is there a Firefox extension/tool out there that provides a good page weight test?

Best answer: Yeah the web developer extension does this.

Or to be more specific, Information - View Document Size in the web developer extension.

The web site optimizer will analyze your site and give you a report on its size that approximates download times for various connection speeds.

If you're using Dreamweaver for development, this info is in the lower-right corner of the document window.
