What is this dessert?

Please help me identify this dessert, which is possibly from the Philippines.
My boss was given a homemade dessert by one of her clients from the Philippines. It's in the shape of a massive log, about four inches in diameter and maybe a foot and a half long. The outside is soft, fluffy meringue, slightly browned on the surface. Inside the meringue is a rich, sweet, yellow, custardy substance. I think I can detect flavors of lemon and possibly coconut in the custard. When you take the whole log and slice it, the cross-section looks a lot like a fried egg. What is this thing called?
