Start/Settings/Missing

I lost my settings on my Start Bar of my pocket pc (a Tmobile MDA). No, not my "settings" to a particular app, but my settings option...it's gone. how do I get it back?

First thing to try would be a soft reset. Did you install any apps recently that remain resident? Any Today screen bars, for example?

tried all that, nothing works.

I did install pocket mechanic, but I can't see that removing it.

Yeah, I don't think PM has a resident component -- did you get the latest version (2.05, released June 30)? Try a soft reset, followed by an immediate connection to your PC via ActiveSync. Using the PC-side ActiveSync add/remove programs, uninstall Pocket Mechanic, then do another soft reset of the phone.
