Is there a program (Windows) that can search by Artist/Song and add Album/Year/etc info to my MP3 tags?

All of my MP3s contain only Artist/Song info in their ID tags. Is there a program (Windows) that can search by Artist/Song and add Album/Year/etc info to my MP3 tags?

In case this matters, I use iTunes to manage my music.

Best answer: Try MusicBrainz. It looks at your mp3s and suggests metadata for them.

I join the musicbrainz suggestion.
It works very well and identifies most songs without much of a problem.
It can fully tag your files, rename it and move it as needed.
Been using it for years ever since I had an mp3 player that uses tags.
Plus it is open source so you get a warm fuzzy feeling when you use it.

Thirding Musicbrainz.

It takes a musical snapshot of your mp3 and does a decent guess. If it's wrong (and sometimes is), you can look up the song/artist info, copy the signature information, and it'll tag the song correctly.

Bonus, it's cross platform (mac + pc)

Best answer: Musicbrainz has an error rate that makes it not as useful for something like this. Its only benefit is when you don't have *any* information, not when you have a partial tag already.

I want this feature too, and after doing some searching, it looks like mediamonkey does this. I'll try it and get back to you.

Update: Just tried media monkey. Not as accurate or quick or automated as I'd thought.
