I'm looking for a hip, alternative-minded video store in the south bay of southern california.
I live in hermosa beach and ever since I moved down here I've been jonesing to find a good alternative video store.
I'm looking for typical art-house movie fare - kurosawa, herzog, fellini, as well as a good collection of foreign and cult films.
any suggestions helpful. I'm hoping someone has picked up the slack left when video archives closed down.

Eddie Brandt's Saturday Matinee
5006 Vineland Ave
North Hollywood, CA 91601
(818) 506-4242
Cross Street: Magnolia Boulevard
It's a hike from where you are, but with more than 500,000 titles, it might be worth the effort.
Also Vidiots in Santa Monica has a good 50,000 titles and favor the independently minded.

As far as I know, there is no such place in the South Bay.
