Maybe moving there would be easier?

I really want these shoes, but they don't ship outside of the U.K.....

These.

They sold them at Dillard's for a while, but they never had my size. I've looked for them everywhere online, and have scoured eBay for weeks. I emailed this company in the UK and they said they don't have any way to ship to the US.

I don't have any friends or family in the UK. Is there anyone to trust on Metafilter willing to have me ship the shoes to their address and then mail them to me? I would pay for shipping and then a little more (whatever's fair) for their trouble. Of course the only way I could get the money to them is maybe Paypal or a gift certificate from Amazon or just mail a money order?

Am I going through way too much trouble? Is there an easier way? Curse the pinkness of them!

You're right, Google is turning up pretty much nothing. I'm pretty sure that I know a girl who has those exact shoes, and I know that she gets most of her shoes at Nordstrom. Of course, I haven't seen her in almost a year, so maybe the style is slightly different, or maybe they're not even Diesel, but another close style. They don't have them at Nordstrom right now, but I think that would be a good store to keep an eye out for your dream shoes, or something like them.

I feel your pain...I've been on the lookout for the perfect purple and yellow tennies for a while now, and when you find your "it" shoe, it's hard not to be able to tak eimmediate possession.

Best answer: Am happy to post them on to you. Addy's in the profile. One of the longer term members can vouch for me, will give you details in e-mail.
That's what meFites are all about!
Will be away from my desk rest of the day, working in London today so can respond sometime this evening.

I see someone's already offered to help you out but, as a backup plan, you could try calling Gravity Pope (a Canadian store) to see if they have them. That link will take you to a page that shows the shoe in black; there's a chance the stores have them in pink and they just don't have the colour listed online. They charge CAD$20 for shipping to the US.

(I should mention that the store is reputable and fabulous.)

I found a few pairs available here. You don't say what size you are.

I live in the UK but will be in the US starting June 5. E-mail is in the profile.

Don't forget that they are likely to be listed in UK sizing, which is different from the US. I'm a 5 in England, 7 in the US. Before ordering, convert your size here.

The UK fashion blogger Susie Bubble will ship anything to you that can't be shipped to the US. Below is what she offers (taken from the left column of her blog):

"...Just to reiterate an earlier post I am now offering to purchase items from the UK to ship internationally for those of you that covet something Brit-tastic. I can even buy stuff in-store in London depending on how specific you are with what you want. Here's how it works:

1) Pick/Choose what you want to buy - email me with the request. I will check availability and work out shipping costs and tell you the grand total.

2) You Paypal me the money first and then I will order/purchase the items requested.

3) Once I receive the items, I will then ship to you straight away = happy days!"

How cool is she?
