Google Drive iPad OS app getting smart-alecky

Suddenly the damn thing won’t show its contents (thousands and thousands of pictures) when I’m offline, even though I have everything set to “Make available offline”.

I know they’re set to “Make available offline” because after I reconnect to the Internet they show up with the check marks in the bottom right corner of the thumbnails. (Though even then they’re very slow to load, as if having to be freshly downloaded.)

Neither force-quitting the app nor restarting the iPad has helped.

What the fuck, Google Drive iPad OS app? What part of “Make available offline” did you not understand?

Does your iPad actually have enough storage space available to retain local copies of all those photos?

Response by poster: 100 GB free at the moment.
