I read something funny a few dozen fortnights ago

It was a dialogue in which a human is explaining our timekeeping and calendar system to an alien. Every step of of the way it gets more absurd. I believe it was in the since-deleted Twitter thread referenced from this Hacker News thread. Does it still exist anywhere on the interwebs?
Response by poster: Thank you, Zamboni. That’s it.

Thank you Winnie the Proust and thank you, Zamboni, for this question and answer - I have similar conversations with my child sometimes.

Oh, that was written by foone! Their twitter is gone for obvious reasons, but they are active on Mastodon, writing good stuff and decompiling old software and amusingly critiquing it.

If I remember correctly, foone intentionally deleted the thread, partially due to people on HN repeatedly misgendering them, but you can find the basic content elsewhere.
