What are the beeps when I turn off the car?

I have read the manual and watched numerous videos but cannot find the answer to this question. When I turn off my C-HR, sometimes I hear a different number of beeps and cannot figure out what I am being alerted to. I have an Android phone that I use while driving. I usually use the automatic shift and have lights on, sometimes not. It is sometimes one beep and sometimes two, and I cannot figure out any rhyme or reason.

Sometimes I have the lights still on when I put it in park and sometimes I turn them off before but that does not seem to make any difference. And sometimes there I no beep.

Anyone solved this yet?

Rear seat reminder? Do the beeps correlate with whether you have stuff (or people) on the seats?

Does any warning appear on the dashboard when you hear the beeps?

Do you put anything in the rear seat? Many cars now have an alert to remind you check the back seat if you opened either of the rear doors during your commute - this is intended to remind a parent who has forgotten that they have a child with them. This comes after a few instances of parents who forgot to stop at daycare with tragic consequences.

Response by poster: No to both answers- nothing in the back seat. The curious thing is I don't have anything different going on with my cargo or anything else when the beeps show up.
