Where in Stockholm should I eat Kalix löjrom?

While in Stockholm I'd like to try Kalix löjrom (vendace roe from Bothnian Bay), since it seems like the ideal time of year for it. I'd prefer this to be at a restaurant. I could buy a small jar or tin, but wouldn't have the means to prepare it properly at a hotel and it sounds like it needs to be kept frozen if I want to bring it back home (not going to be possible). So far all I've heard is that it's served at 'nicer restaurants'. Does anyone have specific recommendations?

You can get it on pizza :) where are you staying and I find you somewhere nearby? Does it have to be specifically the Kalix regions brand or will any löjrom do?

I'd be surprised if this fish place in gamla stan didnt have it, passed there the other night and people were having lovely little plates at standing tables outdoors after work.

Response by poster: Thank you Iteki, I’ll check that out! I was planning on exploring gamla stan this afternoon and evening. I would like to try the specific Kalix type since I’ve heard such good things about it.

Best answer: Most of the Melanders fish restaurants should have it, or B.A.R. restaurant. Also Sture Hof, but that's a little fancier.
