Recent-ish song with a predominant woodblock sound

What is this song? Probably within the last 5-10 years. Predominant woodblock sound, so sort of on an offbeat? It is being used as bumper music on a radio station, And I can't remember what it is. Here comes the cringe. Bum-bum bum, bum-bum blum (woodblock), bum bum bum bum( woodblock) de blum de blum (woodblock)

What (approximately) is making the bum-bum sounds? Vocals, guitar, bass, percussion, another instrument?

Something off the Isle of Dogs soundtrack? (You might query the radio station, too?)

Response by poster: Probably bass, and likely a guitar in there as well...

Was such a common song, and I can't tell what it is. It's driving me crazy, it's driving me nuts...

Response by poster: None of those. Much more pop than those...

The hive mind often provides, but have you also asked the radio station?

It's not Janelle Monae's "The Way You Make Me Feel", is it? (I think some of those are tongue-clicks, but they have a woodblock-ish sound).

Response by poster: No, way later than that...

"Low Rider, rides a little higher..."

Thanks for the ideas. Keep em coming. You all would totally recognize this song...

Is the radio station available for online listening, so we'd have a chance of hearing it?

Response by poster: I think it might have actually been in an ad, not as bumper music. So no...
