Can I track traffic on my Google Fiber network?

How can I view website activity at the router level with the Google "puck" router and access points? I can't find anything online, but I'm sure that other routers I've had have ways to integrate with common monitoring software.

This is a parenting question. I want to be able to spot-check from time to time for any really egregious or dangerous web activity from a teenager. I don't want to be overly draconian, but I also can't just install something on their laptop at the moment - we are going through some difficult behavioral issues.

The "puck" model of the Google Fiber router is the same as the Google Wi-Fi System from 2016.

While this system had basic parental controls, I don't believe it had any granular monitoring capabilities or something like SNMP monitoring support that could log traffic externally. It had very basic abilities, and was known for being not very customizable.

Google Fiber will let you bring your own router to swap out the Google Fiber-supplied puck these days. Since that Google Wi-Fi puck is so basic, and since it's an older device that's substantially slower than newer Wi-Fi routers, you may want to simply shop for a new router that better fits your needs. Other MeFites may be able to recommend specific models that have more advanced parental controls and monitoring.

Are you open to subscription services? If so, something like NextDNS might be an option for you.

OpenDNS might also be an option, if you can change the default DNS server
