The late lamented Stoned Wheat Thins

Has anyone found a good replacement for Red Oval Stoned Wheat Thins?

These were a longtime favorite for many of us, including many on the green to judge by previous questions. But they were discontinued a few years back, and for me no other cracker has matched them. I’m hoping someone has found something acceptable. Bonus: no/low salt.

Looks like they are still available in Canada, although they seem to have been harder to find recently. There even a Canadian site that ships to the US : https://www.canadianfoodtousa.com/product-page/stoned-wheat-thins-300g

Wow this question is very close to my heart, I think about this problem regularly. I've tried a few of the copycat crackers that have come out after stoned wheat thins disappeared, and I think the Whole Foods branded ones are alright - better than the alternatives, but not quite the same. :( I did enjoy this article though - The World of Crackers Has Lost a Giant

I'm going to try to order some from Canada!

Not really the same, but I like Ak-Mak whole wheat sesame crackers.
these
Really good whole wheat flavor.

Another vote for the Whole Foods 365 version; not a perfect match but the best I’ve found (and I tried pretty much all of them)

My wife shares your pain!

Recently she discovered Mariner Stoned Wheat Crackers, which she says come as close as anything she's found to Red Oval's.

^ inspired by this thread, I just picked up a couple of the Canadian versions from Amazon; with shipping and Prime-membership factored in these double-size boxes are cheaper than any other options I could find online. The reviews are full of horror stories about expired and crushed crackers, but I figured I’d take one for the team and report back with my findings (they’re slated to arrive next Monday).

My grocery store has been carrying these - they are quite similar though a bit too sweet. And more expensive, of course.

These Field Day Bite Size Cracked Wheat Crackers are not quite the same but they kind of scratch the itch for me. They sell them at my local hippie food co-op. RIP, SWT.

The weird thing about the Whole Foods 365 brand is that they are very inconsistently salted. I generally like a saltier cracker, but some boxes have more and some a lot less. It’s weird.

And in Canada Metro has them on sale this week
2 for $5
There's even a low sodium version.
