Elbow injury, feels weird.

I had a radial head fracture on one arm that healed completely. Yay! But then I noticed the other elbow.
Because I had no pain in the other elbow, despite some bad bruises and scrapes, it was never treated. As the scrapes healed, I noticed that it hurt when I put pressure on the tip of my elbow.
I went back to the ortho office 5 weeks later for my 2nd visit and was approved for an X-ray on the other elbow. There was nothing visible bone-wise.
The physician's assistant felt around and said "yeah, feels weird, come back if it keeps hurting."
The pain is a little better, but it feels like the joint is now configured differently from my other elbow, and it feels like stuff is sliding around inside the joint. I'm wondering what that means long-term. I don't have any loss of motion, just a little pain when I lean on the tip.
I am hesitant to go back and incur another $1300 to have a PA touch my elbow again, but I would like to know what my next steps might be and if I should make haste or wait it out.

Response by poster: I have olecranon bursitis. I got a steroid injection and it made it a little better. I can wear a compression sleeve and wait for it to heal some more, or do a "minor procedure" if it still gives me trouble.

If you’ve identified a goal for the treatment, you could go spend $100-$150 for a physiotherapist to look at it and see if they could help you achieve a treatment goal. They will suggest you go to a doctor and/or get imaging if they need it to be successful.
