Are you more interested in modern Italy, renaissance Italy, or ancient Roman history? Or something else?

A couple of episodes in The Rest is History:
72. England v Italy [09Jul21] No country has enjoyed a greater influence on the English than Italy. Ahead of the European Championship final, Dominic Sandbrook and Tom Holland explore the history of Rome, Italy and England.
194. The First Fascist. [21Jun22] discusses the 'first' fascist, Gabriele D'Annunzio, with historian Lucy Hughes-Hallett. D'Annunzio was a key figure in Italian literature before becoming a political figure later in his life. Although never personally identifying with fascism, his ideas were hugely influential on Mussolini.
Also Ep. 16 on Pompeii
