High heels for wide feet, UK edition

I'm attending a couple of very big, very formal weddings, for which I need at least one pair of high heels. I also have wide, slightly crooked feet. Please help me find some shoes that fit the dress code without causing too much pain.

These are multi-day Desi weddings and I'm in the wedding party, so the look is highly formal, heavily embellished gowns (example 1, 2). I will probably need six or seven looks in various bright or pastel colours, and the two linked examples are on the less formal side overall.

I think one gold and one silver strappy-type sandal should do the trick for various looks? I never wear heels usually but they feel right for these very special occasions. I know I can handle a kitten heel or similar for a few hours if I get to sit fairly often. Is there a UK-based option for fancy heels that won't progressively destroy my feet over multiple events? Or any hacks for making heels more comfy? Thanks!

Best answer: I find kitten heels difficult to walk in and instead go for a slightly taller chunky heel for weddings. My go to pair is in gold and looks a lot like these and seems like it would match what you’re looking for. No suggestions on UK retailers or current season shoes, unfortunately.

Bella Belle is a fancy-shoe retailer. This is their suggested range for wider feet.
They ship free to UK; toggle upper right corner to change currency.

I've not tried any of their heels, but my special occasion shoe is a flat blingy sandal from them and it is super comfortable. Padded, beautifully made, will last past my demise.
How about the "nude bock heel"?"

Agree with the suggestion to go with a slightly chunkier heel rather than a kitten heel for stability. Something like this, which also comes in a wedge.

If you're willing to splash out, I've had good luck with Esska--they have vegan metallic and regular leather and are comfortable even with a bad back. Not sure about narrow/wide choices.

I would personally just get some flat shoes. They can still be quite fancy!

Best answer: Here are Marks and Spencer’s heeled wide fit shoes, there are a few less fancy but more fancy than not.

Response by poster: Thanks everyone! Sounds like a low block heel is definitely what I want, thanks for a good starting point, A Blue Moon. I then found a perfect white pair at the M&S link you sent, ellieBOA, but they were out of stock by the time I put them in my cart! Time to head to my local branch and see if I can snap them up.

While you’re out shopping, have a look in any local department stores like John Lewis too, glad we could help!
