Parking question in Baltimore

Help me park efficiently near Canton Waterfront Park!

We're driving down for the Kinetic Sculpture Race on Saturday. Due to scheduling conflicts, by the time we get there the water entry (my favorite part) will already have started, so I'd rather not waste time looking for parking. (In my recollection this can take a long time in this area, although my recollection is pretty out of date.) Nearby lots that are showing up on SpotHero can't accommodate my friend's minivan. Can we park at the Target for a few hours without getting ticketed or towed? Or is there a paid lot around there that you know is definitely in operation and not limited to smaller cars? (There are a few on Google Maps but it's impossible to tell what their deal is.) Thank you!
