Trans 101 videos

Just told my father that my partner of many years is trans. My father is a video person. I am a text person. I said I could help with resources. Whatcha got?
Implied was also "and this is not a problem for me" but I think pop culture has that part pretty well covered these days.
I guess also maybe if there's mainstream video fiction with main trans characters? He likes adventure and history and nature. He will grit his teeth and watch something boring but if it's entertaining and informative that would work a lot better.
Anyway so he is at "this is not a problem for me" but probably having a bunch of FAQs stage.

If he likes YouTube, Trans 101 education is basically Jamie Raines' whole thing. He met his longtime girlfriend and now wife before his transition and Shaaba has videos on his channel addressing the impact on her, changes in perspective etc. There are also adorable documents of everyday trans life, like their moving in together (there's an Ikea trip), engagement and wedding. He started recording videos in college (UK, so senior year of US high school) and now has a PhD in psychology, so he has the broad knowledge as well as personal experience, plus a knack for mass education.

Jamie Raines is really understandable and just so excited I love him. However, he also does some more youtubey clickbait videos that aren't worth the time for education purposes but he titles things really well so the clickbait ones are easy to ignore if you want.

Since Jamie is covered, I’ll suggest Jessie Gender as more of a Trans 102. She’s also really into Star Trek, so perhaps there’s some common ground with your dad’s interests.

Response by poster: My partner is transfeminine and it looks like Jamie Raines is focused on transmasculine info? So that would already be trans 102 for my father. I was imagining not an 800-video channel? But clearly Jamie is helpful for many people, so keep 'em coming, but it doesn't answer the question for me. And Jessie Gender looks like the channel is mainly Star Trek?
I do not know how to navigate the wonderful world of video; I think I might need more hand-holding than this. Can you please recommend specific videos or playlists? Videos that cover the next thing you'd want past "use this new name and these pronouns and you're doing great" which is why I did not initially specify gender.

Here’s a playlist of basic videos from Jessie Gender. Here’s her LGBT general playlist. Many of those will be too deep in the weeds, but there might be a few useful videos.
The channels themselves make playlists. If you’re on mobile, you can find them under the down arrow on the channel’s page. Here are Jamie’s focused on transition. I think they’re often still relevant even though Jamie is a trans man.

Disclosure is an excellent documentary about the portrayal of trans people in the media. It's a good primer on the misconceptions and bias that trans people face, based on the choices that Hollywood has made over the years.
And here is a lovely little commercial from Spain that will make you cry.

Please with a de-emphasis on the "I have always known" narrative if possible.
