Cryptic graphically cool designs for a custom watch face

I'm buying and assembling a watch from Eoniq and aside from customizing the watch parts I can upload a design to be put on the dial. I need ideas for categories of stuff that would look cool, but isn't immediately obvious what it is. Hivemind, activate! (pretty please)

It's a line design cut into metal, so think stuff that would look good as a monochrome/line tattoo. My best idea so far is a chemical structure of some significant substance (my antidepressants?), or maybe isolating the line from Minard's depiction of Napoleon's Russian campaign. Aside from uploading a picture you can also hand-draw something on a card and give it to them to scan, but I'm still stuck on what to draw/write in that instance. I also think getting something circular and blowing it up to take up most of the dial, rather than just on a line to the right of the center, might be cool.

The Mickey Mouse watch comes to mind as an example of having hands that are not simply pointers.

I had a wall clock of no value that was beat up...and then the paint on the dial flaked off. I wasn't gonna pay to have a new dial painted then I came up with the idea of ransom note for the numbers. Might not work as well for a small watch.

Best answer: Maybe contour lines from a geographic area that’s significant to you?

Maybe some of the engravings from currency? For example.

Best answer: A street map from a place you love (I have earrings similar to this style and love them), or a watershed map. Public transit maps can also lend themselves to kind of image nicely.

Maybe the famous Lorenz attractor? It has lots of historical significance in mathematics/chaos theory and is also a pop-cultural reference to the butterfly effect.

More obscure math stuff: the Poincaré disk model of the hyperbolic plane makes for lots of cool circular images when you embed stuff there. Eg Google image search, you probably know it from its use by MC Escher.

I think it's possible to develop a QR code that has cool aesthetics, and then could point to your personal web site.
