Insert decomposer joke here

I'm reading about how Haydn and Beethoven both had their skulls stolen (enjoying the book book Cranioklepty). I've also read about Chopin's request to have his heart removed before burial and this modern-day thief of composer's teeth. Given all these stories involving separating composers' body parts from the rest off their bodies, I bet there are more. Do you know of any?

Not composers, but you might like to learn about Byron’s unusual drinking glasses or what Mary Shelley did with Percy Shelley’s heart after stopping Byron from taking his skull for his daily cuppa.

“Beethoven’s Hair” is a fascinating documentary about a lock of B’s hair. Here’s a video clip and here’s more info. The film was released in 2005 and is available online.

100% on topic, but ZERO percent helpful...you might enjoy Monty Python's "Decomposing Composers".
