New laptop old ssd

The power input on my !@#% lenovo has given up the ghost so I'm typing this on the new asus a15. I've moved the ssd from the lenovo to the secondary ssd slot on the asus, and the asus can see it. Which directories should I copy to the nas?

I've already copied over %USERPROFILE%, localtexmf, local email folders, and the \temp\ directory that ends up acting as a junk drawer. My "real work" directories are all synced across the nas and a windows server and backblaze.

Am I forgetting anything? As my "real work" is safe-ish, I'll admit my primary concern here is "Ugh I lost my Zero Dawn savegames and have to start over." Are there any prominent games that store saves in \program files\ or some other weird place?ou

Is there a good reason to format the drive now (like windows not letting me easily delete the extraneous \[program files\ )? Or would it be fine to just start filling up the ~800GB of free space with games and delete unneeded old directories when I need to?

Best answer: If you obtained HZD through Steam or Epic, your saved games should be backed up to their servers and delivered automatically when you next log in. It's been a while since I've had games that stored the saves locally-only.

Best answer: Aside (doesn't answer your question): I'll be surprised if the power connector isn't a daughteboard you can replace when reselling the Lenovo.

Response by poster: It isn't -- the connector is soldered to the motherboard.

Response by poster: Thanks everyone. Nuking from orbit now; it is indeed all pissy about deleting a \windows\ directory.
