Going budgie mode

I'm looking for an android app which lets you see yourself on the phone/ tablet's camera all the time while using the device as normal. For instance I'd be browsing metafilter and there's a small live image of me in the corner. I've tried having the camera app open and doing a split screen type setup and that works ok but is a bit cumbersome so I was wondering if there is an app for this purpose but am having trouble googling for it.

I know this is kind of a weird thing to do but I'm hoping to find it grounding/ giving me more a sense of myself as an actual person that exists if context helps. I'm not concerned about taking photos from the app or anything like that.

Can you just glue a tiny mirror to one corner of the phone's front?
