Don't hit your mother with a frying pan but help me find this song

My dad, mid-70s, recalls a character in a movie singing a song that goes "don't hit your mother with a frying pan - it'll leave a bad impression," but he can't remember the source and Google is yielding zero results.

His memory suggests it's Jon Voigt, maybe in Midnight Cowboy, but he also connects it to "Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head" from Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. So, maybe it's from the late '60s?

Does this ring any bells (or pans, or heads) for anyone?

Best answer: Could it be this from Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid?

Best answer: Is this similar but one generation removed? Never Hit Your Grandma With a Shovel

Also, from the "Quotes" section of the IMDB page for "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid":

Butch Cassidy : [singing] Don't ever hit your mother with a shovel. It will leave a dull impression on her mind.
