What I am doing when I accidentally delete/move google calendar events?

When using google calendar a thing that often happens to me is this: I click on a calendar event to open it, and, in so doing, I accidentally move the event to a new time or delete it. This happens pretty often: Like once or twice a day. But weirdly, no matter what I do, I can't replicate it. It "feels" like I am accidentally dragging or something, but I'm not sure. I'm on a Mac, using a Magic Mouse if that matters.

My best guess would be that you’re accidentally triggering a gesture on the Magic Mouse.

Does it still happen if you use a different mouse?

3-finger drag is the most likely culprit off the top of my head. You can disable that gesture in system preferences and see if that helps. If not, you can disable ALL gestures and then slowly add them back in until you find the culprit.

If I click and drag on a calendar event, then it moves to a new time/day depending on the direction I move my mouse. Right clicking on it gives me a delete option instead. Both would be fairly easy to accidentally do if you click and move your mouse at the same time, I think.

Be careful you're not double-clicking.
