Help me find this shirt!

Hivemind, I got this shirt as part of a race that I entered this year. I’d like to get more running shirts out of this fabric, but the shirt does not have a manufacturer’s label. Can you help me find either the manufacturer(s) of this type of shirt, or search terms for this new-to-me fabric? Thanks!

Is it the same as this shirt from the Maine Marathon store? MEN'S & WOMEN'S LONG SLEEVE FINISHER https://mainemarathon.geigershops.com/MM/p-WA236M001ROY

If so, the item description says "Made from fabric laundered, 4.3-oz., 32 singles, 100% combed ringspun cotton this top features set-in 1x1 baby rib collar and convenient tear away label."

If not, maybe you could contact them and inquire about the shirt you have.

The ebay tag photo says 100% polyester.

Best answer: It looks like the race was sponsored by Geiger, a promotional products company based in Maine. Chances are the shirt came from them- I don’t see anything that matches on their website, but you might try reaching out to the company directly. In my experience these companies are very sales motivated and quick to respond!

Best answer: Have you tried the direct approach - contacting the race organizer to see who made their shirts?

The vast majority of running / fitness gear is 100% polyester, maybe with one or two percent of spandex, so the material components isn't interesting - the weave/thickness/pattern is the unique part.

Response by poster: Thanks for the thoughtful replies! I apologize for not being specific enough. I do know that the shirt is 100% polyester, but I have never seen the embossed (?) pattern on the shirt before, and I believe it’s the pattern that is making the shirt much more breathable than other running shirts I’ve owned. I was hoping blank shirts of this type / make were easily available on the internet, and I just didn’t have the right search phrase queued up. The suggestion to reach out to Geiger is a good idea, thank you!

Another “competitor” tank on the website that Sockin’inthefreeworld linked to has this description: “3.8-oz., 100% polyester interlock with PosiCharge technology” but I can’t zoom in enough to see if it’s the same texture.
