ISO Hand stapler for box corners

I'm looking for an elusive tool: a hand stapler that creates box corners, using special staples. It's a very cool look, and makes the finished box very recyclable for us since it uses no glue.

I've seen the finished boxes online from boxes manufacturers, and I found one Korean website that sells one, but it's pretty $$ to ship from Korea, especially to restock on staples regularly if we use it a lot. So I'd love to know what they're called, so I can google better, or if you know where I can buy one in the US or in Europe, that's great.

Here's a German company selling an industrial-size machine: https://www.speckboetel.de/gem.html

Looks like they are called "box stitching machines" -- see https://www.updateltd.com/packaging/c839/c840 and https://www.boxstitching.com

I'm wondering if you could create a "jig" or some sort of 90 degree angle solid form to go inside the box corner, and then use a standard stapler, but hinged open, and just....staple?
Just trying to think "outside the box".

Asssuming you don’t want a large industrial product, somethint like this “sabre point” stapler could potentially do the job

Response by poster: Thanks all. To be clear, the specific stapler i'm looking for staples over the open corners of the box, and places a staple on the 90° corner. the box doesn't have overlapping edges, if that makes sense, so "regular" box stitching machines aren't quit the same thing. They staple on the side of the lid, and not on the corner.

I've never seen anything like this. That is one cool tool.

I could be wrong, but my searching leads me to believe that it's a relatively new invention, based on links like this Design London exhibitor one. Here's one in France.

I'd guess that's a step or part of the process in seeking distributors or manufacturers in Europe, and with any luck, they're also doing the same in the U.S.

It may be more a matter of patience than anything else?

Response by poster: Stormyteal that's what i thought too at first, but i found mentions that it was a very popular pre-war box style. Maybe it fell out of fashion, but i'm hoping it makes a come-back :-)

You may be able to purchase the CornerVery stapler through a proxy buying service like Harum.io

It seems Cornervery, the brand, is exclusive to Korea. You can send them email inquiries via cornervery@gmail.com

I contacted the seller you link to, and eventually received an email from them. I can share it with you; they are looking for a US distributor but are willing to sell directly (though with some reluctance, I sensed).

Still, ask and you shall eventually receive.
