Trying to miss traffic going from a Brooklyn to New Jersey

I realize traffic might be a mess tomorrow, but when would be the best time to drive from Bed Stuy, Brooklyn to Morristown, New Jersey? (And when would be the worst times to attempt this?)

Tomorrow, I'd do very early morning, like 6 am.
You'll beat the regulars and the holiday people.
Even leaving at 7 you'd be fine.

(I once drove from Newark to LaGuardia in a little under half an hour… it was between 3-4am. This is probably not helpful to you.)

Google maps has a feature that lets you play with times and see how long they estimate it will take.
Like this.
They probably take into consideration the holiday, but it might make their estimates weird.

I’d just go as early as you are willing to get up. Since you are going against the traditional end-of-weekend flow, you may be able to avoid the worst of it going into early afternoon, but I’d just leave early anyway.
