T'choupi à Paris

Where can my friend find a T'choupi plush in Paris?

My toddler child is obsessed with T'choupi and although we have a good U.S. source for the French language books, we'd love to get her a plush T'choupi (licensed by Jemini) and they are not sold here. Happily, I have a friend traveling to Paris in the Fall who has offered to make a purchase of one, but I don't want to send her on a wild hunt to every toy store in every arrondissment. Does anyone know where my friend would be able to find one?

Best answer: I'm not having much luck finding a "peluche tchoupi" in stock in Paris (even FNAC...). One possibility: amazon.fr

I did this to buy some "Le Petit Prince" items. Here are the steps:

1. Login to Amazon.fr
2. Add your items to the cart
3. Look for the option to "Livraison GRATUITE en point retrait"
4. Select a pick up location close to wherever you're friend is staying.

I picked mine up at a restaurant. And I had to go back twice, because I didn't understand the pick up hours, but I got my things are the second try. Relatively painless and better than going to a bunch of stores with empty shelves.

Best answer: King Jouet has several versions: these regular ones, a storytelling one, a musical plushie — I don't know if they keep them in stock in the stores, but they can be ordered online and picked up at the branch of your choice.

Best answer: There are several on Amazon France, and there are pickup lockers all over Paris so it wouldn’t have to be from a restaurant or other similar location.
